About me

My name is Eliana Horawa, but my friends call me Eli. I was born in this great city, but I travel a lot and enjoy learning about different cultures and languages. To become a Spanish Teacher as a Second Language I studied at the AADE (Argentine Spanish Teachers’ Association) and at IH (International House). In addition to English, I fluently speak other languages such as Portuguese, Italian and German. In addition to teaching, I am also a qualified Technical Director in Films. I have 9 years of experience teaching my native language, and have taught students of all levels -beginners to advanced- from many different countries. This has given me an understanding of the various difficulties that speakers of other languages encounter when learning Spanish. Teaching Spanish has not only taught me more about my own language, but it has provided me with the opportunity to meet people from other cultures, which is what I really enjoy.
